Matthew Boulton Commemorative Candelabrum

In November 2008 Shona Marsh was awarded with the commission to create a contemporary piece of silver to celebrate the bicentenary of Matthew Boulton. The Candelabrum, inspired by pattern books of Boulton, was finished in January 2009 and unvield at Spring Fair NEC in February 2009. The Candelabrum now forms the centrepiece of an exhibition at Birminghams' Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. It was also on display for one night only at the opening of Matthew Boulton-Selling What all the World Desires at Birminghams Museum and Art Gallery.
